I want to see some Lord of the Rings locales in New Zealand. Also, I was intrigued when I learned about "The Polynesian Panthers" in New Zealand, and to see more about the Dawn Raids. Madrid, Spain, is where the Commanders vs Dolphins will be at the Real Madrid stadium. I do want to go back to Japan.
Hello, as someone who has solo travelled to over 50 countries, I think that this video really informative, and a lot of my personal experiences align with what you've mentioned. However, I do want to point out something I disagree with.
Japan is NOT a place to go to alone if you haven't solo travelled before (I'd actually even recommend countries like Oman or Romania over Japan tbh). After 8 solo trips across 40 different countries, I still didn't feel comfortable in Japan due to the overwhelming differences and the complexity of the country. If you have not travelled a lot let alone solo travelled, I'd steer clear from Japan for a while until you get some better travel sense. I have felt uncomfortable and even unsafe at times when I was there, so definitely know what you're signing up for before heading over.
I'm glad that you enjoyed Japan, and I think it's such a beautiful country to visit, but unless you're maybe from that part of the world already and know perfectly what to expect there, I'd highly recommend keeping Japan off the first time solo travel list. Iceland is really unique with incredible nature. I've been to Iceland many years ago and I want to return. But it's true it's quite expensive.
Italy is missing in your list (it's my favorite country in Europe).
Spain is also great, but be careful of thefts in Barcelona.
Japan is on my list.
Switzerland is really expensive, and so quiet.
