Some great recommendations in your video. Ghent is a beautiful, underrated city, well worth a visit, but don't expect it to be quiet. We visited in April this year and we could hardly move in its beautiful streets as they were teeming with tourists.

Avignon, France I'd recommend as it wasn't stupidly expensive, has a lot to offer itself and you can visit Arles, Nimes, Marseille, Orange and Pont Du Gard all within 30mins with public transport.
