Hi! Tô visit the Park and exteriors at Pena palace, do you still need to purchase the ticket? Thx! Great video!
The name of hotel please
lol, Port looks like it worked well!
That hotel looks nice (way better than the hostel I stayed on my last visit 25 yrs ago 😂) but I checked the price – not really in the normal travellers budget range 😱
I had great views from 38,000ft in an A320 flying over the Vasgo de Gamma & 25 April bridges recently 👩✈️🛫
The hotel you stayed seems very amazing. Coule you tell me a little bit details of it such as the hotel name. Thanks!
cheers👍
You didn't concentrate on the main sights in Lisbon itself, unless there's another video
Hello, can I skip the line with lisboa card to enter Torre de belem and monaterio de Jerónimos?
Loved the video! Useful and time saving tips. I am planning a trip to Lisbon in the end of October 2024, I see from the video that the weather in Sintra is not ideal at that time. Would you recommend traveling to Lisbon in October end this year? Thanks
Hi. If I have a the Lisbon card and want to visit one of attractions included in the card, then how do I make sure to “skip the line” to ensure fast entry to those attractions? Thanks in advance.
I made the mistake of not leaving enough time to look around and go to a museum. I was looking for a toilet and found one at bottom of town that charges 4 euros, not wanting to pay that much, found another one, but they needed 50 cents and didn't give change or except any other money. I managed one viewpoint then had to leave for the airport. Went to a metro station and got a ticket, unfortunately left my bank card in the machine and didn't realise until I was at the airport. So couldn't get any food until I was on the plane and able to pay on my phone. The whole experience this time made me wish I had spent the extra time in Sintra then gone straight to the airport😅 😂😅
Excellent video
Hey there. Really enjoying your content as we will be doing a road trip from Lisbon to Porto. Do you also have the downloadable PDF like the one you have for Porto? Thanks!
Hello, found your video so great. I was wondering if you could share your google map link? I'm planning to go next week
What hotel did you stay at? Sorry can’t find the link
May I ask, which website you use to buy bus pass around sintra?
❤❤❤❤
Portugal mein heimatland🇵🇹🇵🇹🇺🇸
Do you have to activate the Lisbon card at the airport or how else can you activate it? I’m flying in to Porto and then coming down to Lisbon later on
Thank you again for excellent reporting and the information. We like your very truthful descriptions and advice. Certainly good to hear before we visit Lisbon. Best wishes
The tip on skipping the Santa’s justa lift is fantastic. It really helps you shave an hour of waiting. Very cool. To be honest the best views of the city are not from this platform anyway. You can easily skip this and go to the Arch at the square and go up and the views are magnificent and there is no queue here. Santa justa is just a tourist trap. the name of the arch is Arco da Rua Augusta
Cool tips. Thanks. Planning to finally visit my home country from Canada July 2024!
1:00 got me, this is not a ferry 😂
What month was thıs vısıt to Sintra?
Good interesting Video.
With reference to the Pastel De Bacalhau, (12:50) we visited the same outlet at the top of the Santa Justa lift by the Carmo Convent, purchased the cod cake & port & we were charged €12.50 each! Tasty but too expensive. But they gave us the glasses & a small bag.
According to one of our guides in the Azores it is not a traditional dish & we were ripped off.
Sep 23.
Thank you so much for the options w the tours at Sintra, lots of choices. Planning to go in May
The 1.5 Euro charge at the top of the Santa Justa lift is to go to the very top (not the enclosed portion where you filmed). But i do agree with the Carmo Convent hack (though, there's a more convenient hack without having to hike up to the convent)
Behind the Santa Justa lift is another modern public lift, which takes you directly up for free. There are many of these lifts throughout central Lisbon, including one which virtually takes you to the Castle.
excellent video! great tips! may I also suggest a money related tip – ATMs in portugal have different fees for foreigners from europe (who have acocunts in euro) and other foreigners from outside europe, I found out when I used the ATM Fee Saver mobile app in my recent travel there – it gave a list of fee-free and low-fee ATMs with withdrawal limits, especially how to avoid extra dynamic currency conversion charges… and definitely to avoid the euronet ATMs that charge very high fees. Worth adding to your list, will defo help other travellers!
well done….this will help me when i go to Lisbon in February. Thanks again

Lisboa is now a huge tourist zoo. Super expensive towards to rip off, over crowded by thousand of tourist, with long queues everywhere to visit interesting spots.
Believe me when I say it's become an unbearable city to visit (and live in), especially if you want to experience quality tourism and hate crowded cities.
Short detailed and sweet awesome video thx
do you happen to know if there are any monthly passes for metro/train/bus purchasable in lisbon? :(+
Hi! This was a great video! I’m planning a trip to Portugal in December. I noticed you mentioned the weather is pretty rainy during that month. My baggers question is what to pack? I should I bring jackets? Boot? Do you think the weather will affect heavily on my site seeing? Thank you 🙂
Your travel tips always come in handy! By the way, have you come across the new V4 of the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane? I recently discovered it and thought it could be a game-changer for staying organized during trips, just like your tips!
Thanks a lot for your info very useful
