Bak Sheesh is one of the reasons I dislike Muslim countries. It’s not always pushy tipping. At times it’s coercion. He will watch your car or brake it. My classic is passing through security in Jakarta airport. It was a business trip with samples in an airlines approved cardboard package. The guard insisted they be in a suitcase. He just happened to sell suitcases.

Disappointed to see you posing with the camel rides. Please do not be complicit in this dreadful cruelty. The cruelty will only stop when tourists stop supporting it – and before anyone says but the drivers have to eat, just check out Brooke Hospital or Egypt Equine Aid to see the totally gratuitous sufferings of the camels, donkeys and horses, many of which are owned by extremely wealthy gangmasters and literally worked to death.
