I heard that the warranty for BagSmart luggage is not good. Do you know anything about that? Can't find anything omn their website.
I am confused, the bag in the link shows "pull rod wall design" leading me to think those annoying handle rods are not in there?

Why do you mention “pilot’s wife” a lot?
The Bagsmart website says it weighs 8.2 lbs, but another You Tuber weighed it on camera and said it weighed 7.2 lbs. empty. Could you please let me know what you get for an empty weight? Thank you!!
Bought this bag on your recommendation. Not a fan. The quality is lacking. Mine came with peeling plastic that makes it shiny and the company told me it wasn’t a flaw. That means they would not pay for the return charge, which $72. Beware!

I just received the cute pink Bagsmart carry on luggage. 2 questions: is there a clear protective film on it that I am supposed to remove? 2nd: the handle does move and jiggle? Beautiful luggage
Still waiting to hear about a high quality 19" or smaller softside 2-wheel carryon with the side handle on the left (when looking at the front of the upright suitcase), not the right. I've never understood why the side handle on most suitcases is on the right, because right-sided handles are for left-handed people, not for right-handed people – my 16.5" is designed for a lefty (side handle on the right), but thankfully it has a mesh pocket on the the left side that I could grab, because otherwise I would have dropped it on the floor from 6ft up when putting it in the overhead the time it had a 12lb weighted blanket in it. The closest ones I've found to what I'm looking for are Rockland and US Traveler, but neither of those would be considered "high quality" – average for light use, perhaps, but probably not suitable for the abuse my carryon takes from baggage handlers.
Laurie, Do you ever do any videos on acceptable food that you can take through TSA so that you don’t have to pay for expensive air port foods?
I have heard Aluminum bags are better. Do you agree? I am thinking zipperless would be more water proof. Clamshell and zipperless bags brings me back to the old times.
How does this compare to Quince’s carry on luggage?
What do you think about repurposing an unused laptop bag as my carry on for personal items. It basically has the main zip up area where the laptop would fit and two external pouches with velcro fasteners and a shoulder strap.

Do you have a recommendation for a dry bag? Something to put your hotel card, cell phone, etc, when you are at the beach and want to take things with you in the water and not leave them on the shore.

The smooth texture gets scratched more but as a carryon not a big deal. 20" would definitely be a good size though I do like that 21" that can expand. It is very similar to Quince carry on. The main feature for me is the compression bar. I can pack 2-3" higher and gets compressed completely. I won't buy cross straps luggage! Mono & Away started this feature, Quince pretty much is a copy for much lower price. Sounds like Bagsmart took the same pattern and is a decent price! But I do like a textured outside. The Airlines are starting to remind passengers that any expansion has to be zipped if carryon. I had never experienced that…though if you pack with expansion open, 9 out of 10 times after you zip you can compression by zipping that extension! Love the colors but unfortunately hubby seems to think I don't need another one…sniff!
I got a bagsmart carry on luggage but it’s more matte and it’s 100%polycarbonate and expandable. I am going on a trip to China and trying for the first time. Wheels are embedded so it will be strong but inside pocket it’s mesh and I really don’t use that anyways.i like that it’s square and there won’t be any space wasted and it does fit a lot. Very lightweight as well. Very similar to the one you have. I am happy that I purchased it. Thank you for all the tips.
Cute suitcase! I wish the wheels could pop under or something like those shoes that had rollerblades in them. LOL. It's just the wheels really add to the length and I'm afraid they won't pass the carry on test at the gate.
I’d never check my personal bag! I have all my meds, tech and makeup in there. I think I’d rather check my carryon or put all the dirty clothing in the duffel and check that and put my souvenirs in my carryon for the plane.
